My Story

Be Double You Automation was born from a deep desire to help churches maximize their resources and operate more efficiently.

My journey started as a teenager, volunteering in the kids' ministry at my church. I found joy in helping wherever I could, but I was also that "tech nerd" who loved digging into the details of how everything worked behind the scenes on a Sunday morning. That’s when I first encountered Planning Center. As I grew into roles where I coached and scheduled volunteers, I developed a greater appreciation for the tools that made everything run smoothly.

A few years later, I joined the staff at Cedar Valley Church as the Maintenance Manager while pursuing my Engineering Management degree at Northwestern - St. Paul. During that time, I worked closely with the IT Director, assisting with various tasks and diving deeper into Church Community Builder, the church management software we used. Eventually, when our Database lead resigned, I naturally stepped into the role "temporarily"—and that temporary position quickly turned into a full-fledged passion.

Today, that passion has transformed into my own business. With a combination of my education, years of volunteer and professional experience in the church, and a drive to lighten the technological load for church staff, I provide personalized, patient, and timely support to help churches thrive.

While the traditional ticket system works for large corporations aiming for efficiency, it often leaves you with more questions than answers. It’s impersonal, and it’s not the approach I believe in.
